SPITFIRE BOUNCE No.8
WOW what a night we had at The SPITFIRE BOUNCE No 7. Our guest DJ was Reverend Boogie & he spun the disc's really well, along with Pat The Kat & Jeff "Two-Tone Boogie" on the decks the dance numbers were coming thick & fast, & the dance floor was burning hot with all the dancing (Jeff "Two-Tone Boogie" was burning the rubber off his wheelchair tyres as usual when he was'nt on the decks) . Once again the stalls added some great atmosphere & energy to the dance, bringing with them an array of vintage & retro clothing & accessories. Thanks to all the stall holders for their support & hard work. A big THANK YOU goes to Jill for doing the raffel, raising funds for THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION, so far we have raised in excess of £200 with your very kind help & support. As always Spitfire friends Jill & Mick were on hand to help right through the whole evening & Mick was running round with his camera (see photo gallery). We had lots of old & new friends turn up for the dance & everyone had a really great time. As always the FREE tea, coffee, squash & doughnuts went down really well, the new mugs were so popular we had to send out for more tea bags.
Once again we would like to thank you all for your efforts in supporting THE SPITFIRE BOUNCE and building a great atmosphere. We all had a BRILLIANT night.
THANK YOU.
There is one very important thing to remember & that is that these dances would not have the atmosphere & fun if it was not for all of you who attend, so a GREAT BIG THANK YOU to you all.
